How far along? 16 weeks, 6 days today; 16 weeks, 2 days at the time of the photo
How big is baby? Baby is the size of a yummy avocado.
How am I feeling? Pretty much the same. Just kind of sleepy.
What do I miss? Right now, not a ton. I was excited for the excuse to buy some fun new maternity clothes and not be able to say, "Oh, well, I really like this, but I have things I can wear already." Because, you know, I don't.
Symptoms? Still acne. Will it ever go away??
Cravings? I eat some mac and cheese like it's my job.
Maternity Clothes? Yes! I'm finally feeling a bit more comfortable in my maternity jeans and it makes all the difference.
Stretch Marks? Nope.
Sleep? Same: pretty well, but if anything wakes me up, it's a lot harder to get back to sleep. I'm also having to go to the bathroom a lot more at night. It's a rarity if I can make it without getting up once.
Movement? Same: I can't quite tell. I think I've felt a couple little movements at night in bed. It kind of feels like my shirt is brushing against my stomach...but on the inside. Nothing big or consistent yet.
Gender Predictions? I'm starting to lean more towards boy, but I think subconsciously I feel it's a girl: "she" is often coming out of my mouth :)
Looking Forward to? So MUCH! This weekend is my sister Emily's Family Weekend at GA Tech so I'm headed that way tomorrow to go to a football game. My family very rarely does things like this together so it's really fun when we do. And Monday we have our anatomy scan, where hopefully we can find out if baby is a he or a she!! If we can't, we're probably going to go ahead and do an elective ultrasound :). Andrew actually got off work for it too, which was unexpected and really awesome.
What have been the highlights of the week? We had a really fun, social weekend, and I didn't have a problem with staying up pretty late (for me), which is nice. By the time midnight rolls around, usually I'm pretty thankful I haven't been able to drink ;). I could also finally fit into my maternity jeans and I think I'm starting to pop!
